This Privacy Policy describes how Lazy Finance ("the App", "we", "our") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Data Storage

All financial data you enter — including transactions, accounts, debts, budgets, and planned expenses — is stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate servers, databases, or cloud services that collect or store your personal financial information.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, or any account credentials.
We do not transmit your financial data to any third party.
We do not use analytics SDKs that track your in-app behavior.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.

3. Biometric Data

The App offers optional biometric authentication (fingerprint / face unlock) as a convenience lock. Biometric processing is handled entirely by your device's operating system (Android BiometricPrompt API). The App never reads, stores, or transmits biometric data.

4. Encryption

Your local database is encrypted using AES-256 via SQLCipher. The encryption key is derived on-device and is never sent anywhere.

5. Advertising (Free Version Only)

The free version of Lazy Finance includes advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device's ad settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

The Pro version of Lazy Finance contains no advertising and AdMob is not initialized.

6. Notifications

The App may send local device notifications to remind you of upcoming debt payments, planned expenses, and budget warnings. These notifications are generated on-device and do not involve any external server communication.

7. Permissions

Biometric / Fingerprint — for app lock (optional).
Post Notifications — for local payment and budget reminders.
Storage / Files (Android 9 and below) — for exporting reports to your device. Files are saved only where you choose.

No permission is used for tracking, advertising targeting (Pro), or data collection.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
